Pa Rescue Mission!

 Today at school we did a group of maths problems at school, we had to:

1. Find and plot your current location as a coordinate (Kaiapoi Pa) - where is this in relation to the centre of Ōtautahi?

2. Find and plot your destination as a coordinate (Ōnawe Pa) - where is this in relation to the centre of Ōtautahi?

3. You must measure distance between the two locations ( remember the roads we have today may not be your chosen path)

4. What is the most direct route from one place to the other

5. Include the compass directions both locations are from the centre of Ōtautahi

I measured the distance with a measuring tool in Google Maps. We did some of the answers in our workshop.

It will take at least 6 days to get there.

 Hello everyone! 

This week is called Pa week-- all Reading, Writing and Maths is focused on a Pa: a fence or village.

Our Maths task was to design our own Pa, our Reading task was to make an advert or site about a Pa on sale and our Writing was making another advert for the pa we made in Maths.

This is my Reading task, which is a site called Let's Get Historical. It also sells other historical properties in Rome, Scotland and more.
