Hello everyone, this is my piece of Persuasive writing on why we should ban plastic.
Why Should We Ban Plastic?
Banning plastic from your home can be a real deal when it comes to Global Warming. It is the same story with Landfills. I find that plastic is very bad for the earth, causing some things like types of pollution, and I therefore suggest that I disagree with keeping plastic in your household. Plastic can pollute the earth and it can be very bad for you.
But why?
Things like plastic bags or plastic cups are at a high waste rate. This means that the Landfills that are built will multiply and take up more land.A Landfill is built and when it is filled up, after it rains the toxic liquid substances from the waste leak into a pipe.
Couldn't we just build stuff on top of the Landfills?
No! We can’t build things on top of the Landfills because it will block out the rain, and then we can’t get rid of the toxic liquid. We also can not grow anything on top of these Landfills because the condition for plants are more clean than the conditions the Landfills would cause.
Are the Landfills good for us though? We can get rid of the waste, right?
Nope. the trash goes in the Landfill and stays there. The landfills let off greenhouse gases and poisonous gases too. The greenhouse gases go around the earth and trap sunlight to make the earth warmer, and if there are too much Greenhouse gas then the Earth will get too warm to handle.
And?
So please,please don’t keep plastic in your house. Or waste too much.Unless you want bad things to happen to the Earth.
